Maid was very nice and helpful and they have a great coffee machine downstairs.
It was not near the airport at all, room smelled bad, room was claustrophobic, terrible location and the access was horrific.

I would not say this hotel was near the hotel at all. Access was horrific - traffic speeding by in 3 lanes with no turn off until you are at the hotel. It was a miracle that we were not rear ended. The room smell bad and the window (facing the street) would not open. The bathroom was small and cramped and the closet was ridiculously small. The sheets were old and worn and the pillows were flat as a pancake. There is only access from one side - if you are coming from another direction, you have to go down the freeway another mile or two, get off the freeway and get back on the other side, travel past the hotel, get off the freeway again, go across the bridge and get back on and then try to turn off with out being killed. Convenience to downtown Boston.
Coffee and tea machines did not work; no continental breakfast.

Nothing fancy, but convenient to downtown Boston; Not many amenities but close to restaurants, shopping if you have a car. I guess you're paying for the location.

It was inexpensive and conveniently close to Salem.
Staff wasn't knowledgeable regarding how customers are billed.

The stay was adequate. We arrived at 4am to check in, when I was told that they tried to run my debit card and it declined, so we lost our 2 bed room. I was told when I called to confirm a month in advance that they wouldn't charge until we checked out. They did upgrade us to a suite with a king-size bed, which was fine. It would have been more appealing if the couch wasn't stained. When returning that night, room service had not visited out room, no clean towels. When I called the front desk, I was told to come down and pick them up myself. After explaining my displeasure, they were brought up 2 me. I was then told that because we didn't spend an actual whole night, room service doesn't clean our room, which I think is ridiculous. If there are guests staying in a room, it should be cleaned regardless of how long they stay. In a whole, for only staying a day & a half for a cheap rate, it was sufficient. ...read more
